Issues - Life and Family

As put forth in our State Constitution: “All persons are by nature free and independent, and have certain natural and unalienable rights, among which are those of enjoying and defending life and liberty.” A strong and prosperous government must be based upon those core fundamental rights that were firmly rooted in religious and family values.

The most fundamental right in any society is the right to Life. I believe life begins at conception and from that point forward it has “the natural and unalienable right to enjoy life and liberty”. I am 100% pro-life and look forward to the day when I line item veto funding for Planned Parenthood and become the first New Jersey Governor to speak at the March for Life.

The ever-increasing governmental control of our families and children must be put to an end. As state government has grown, we have seen an increasing number of government dictates regarding how parents must raise their children. The right of a parent to raise his child is sacred, that is why we must reverse those dictates and allow parents - not the government - to raise their own children.
