Issues - Second Amendment, and Fish and Game
As a longtime National Rifle Association member I have consistently supported our Second Amendment rights and opposed gun control laws that treat law abiding citizens like criminals.
As Governor I will ensure every individual’s Constitutional rights are protected by overturning current right infringing laws, including the Florio Gun Ban, and vetoing anti-gun legislation.

I will also sign a “Right to Carry” bill and appoint judges who understand the Second Amendment while removing those who do not.
New Jersey Sportsmen have suffered under the heavy hand of the Department of Environmental Protection for too long as it supervises the Fish and Game Commission. As Governor I will reign in the DEP and move the Commission to a new Department of Parks and Forestry so sportsmen are no longer treated as second class citizens behind fish and wildlife. I support hunting as a means of wildlife management and will support the Commission should it find a need for a Bear Hunt.
